ABOUT AVECTES

Capable business tools should be within reach.

Running a business can mean paying for separate tools, then spending time piecing the work together. Avectes is being built around a simpler ambition: capable software at a sustainable cost, with customers, projects and decisions connected.

THE STARTING QUESTIONWhy should an independent builder have to choose between capable software and a sustainable cost?

01 / THE RECURRING CHOICE

The tools existed. The middle ground did not.

As a JavaScript developer, Avectes' founder needed software that made professional work possible without consuming the budget needed to keep building. A capable product could be difficult to afford. An affordable one could leave an important part of the work uncovered.

Filling each gap with another subscription made the business harder to run. Customer context, commercial work, and delivery drifted into different places even though they were parts of the same job.

NEEDDo professional work

Capable tools that an independent builder can sustain.

COMPROMISEPatch the gaps

More subscriptions, weaker continuity, and repeated context.

DECISIONBuild a connected alternative

Keep quality, access, and the relationships between the work in view.

02 / THE PRODUCT THESIS

Affordability should not cost people the whole picture.

The starting idea was direct: make professional business tooling more accessible without treating price as permission to deliver a lesser or fragmented experience. That requires a shared foundation, not just a cheaper collection of isolated screens.

DESIGN BRIEF / DIRECTIONNOT A RELEASE CLAIM

Keep the context with the work.

01Customer work

The relationship should not be reconstructed for every task.

02Commercial work

Decisions should have the customer and project context they need.

03Technical work

The systems behind delivery should be connected to the operation they support.

Avectes is being shaped around these relationships. The aim is to reduce the translation people do between tools so more attention can stay with the work itself.

03 / THE STANDARD

Earn trust by describing the work as it is.

Avectes is still being built. Current work, research, and longer-term direction are described separately because a good origin story should not turn unfinished work into a promise already kept.

The original problem was too much friction and too little clarity. The way forward should not recreate either.
